Roger Blackwell
Roger Blackwell   Roger Blackwell is a Professor of Marketing at The Ohio State University. He is also president of Blackwell Associates, Inc., a consulting firm in Columbus, Ohio, through which he has worked with many of America's largest and most successful companies. He has also appeared as an expert witness before the FTC and various legal proceedings.

  Roger Blackwell was named “Outstanding Marketing Educator in America” by Sales and Marketing Executives International and “Marketer of the Year” by the American Marketing Association. He has also received the Alumni Distinguished Teaching Award, the highest award given by Ohio State. Having lectured around the world, Roger is often quoted in such publications as Business Week, USA Today, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal.

  Roger Blackwell is considered to be one of the founding fathers of Consumer Behavior as co-author of one of the leading books in this field entitled “Consumer Behavior.” It is used by business schools throughout North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He has also written 21 other books on marketing strategy and research. His most recent publication is entitled “Global Marketing Perspectives and Cases,” a global marketing textbook designed to look at not only the theoretical but practical sides of global business. His latest book, “From Mind to Market,” was released by HarperBusiness, New York in 1997.

  Roger and his wife, Tina, have produced the CD-ROM and CD-1 programs, “How to Grow Profits” and “How to Compete in the Global Marketplace” which revolve around his presentations of the same titles. These interactive educational programs are gaining popularity as corporations seek new, innovative ways to educate and train employees.

  Dr. Blackwell received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from The University of Missouri and his Ph.D. from Northwestern University. Roger's hobbies include jogging, weight training and boxing.
